The waiting game
When the National Broadband Plan is finally completed in 2027, it will be 12 years behind schedule.
Thousands of businesses and households will have gone without a basic, reliable utility that many of us take for granted.
Pursuing alternatives
In the meantime, broadband companies like Imagine have stepped in to provide internet services through alternative means, such as ‘fixed wireless’, which allows households and businesses to connect to the internet via signal rather than fibre-optic cable.
360 partnered with Imagine to announce the funding, construction, and rollout of its 5G fixed wireless infrastructure, the first of its kind in Europe.
Connecting the country
5G broadband can deliver ultra-fast download speeds without the need for expensive cable infrastructure.
We focused our intelligent communications campaign on the transformative effect these speeds would have on homes and businesses in rural Ireland.
Our campaign incorporated a year of media relations, stakeholder and political engagement, and social and digital content. It culminated with the launch of Imagine’s 5G network at an industry and media event in Dublin city centre.
