We’re hiring a Senior Account Executive/Account Executive


We’re looking for a Senior Account Executive and an Account Executive to join the 360/FINN team.

This person will be ambitious, hard-working and an assured self-starter with the key role of helping carry out and manage the day-to-day communications, PR and public affairs activities for a variety of leading Irish and international clients.

Working as part of a small but fast paced and agile team, the ideal candidate will be a confident problem-solver and team player, with strong organisational and people skills.

At 360, you’ll be helping to execute strategic communications campaigns for a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, including public institutions, retail, transport, healthcare and food and drink.

You’ll also assist with pitching for new business and administering the day-to-day tasks of client management and business growth. As such, this role demands excellent communication skills and high level of professionalism.

The role

The successful candidate will:

  • Contribute to the development of creative and strategic campaigns and communications plans, as well as presenting new ideas to existing and prospective clients.
  • Write and edit a wide variety of traditional and digital content, including press releases, op-eds, presentations, multimedia content, and other materials.
  • Work with media, relevant industry stakeholders and government representatives on a day-to-day basis to advance client objectives.
  • Proactively seek out opportunities to engage with national, local, and trade media – as well as handle all incoming queries.
  • Monitor and report to clients on media stories, government announcements, industry developments, and new research.
  • Assist with client and business development administrative tasks, including the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas, meeting notes, and meeting schedules.
  • Actively seek out new business opportunities, nurture client leads, and help to pitch for new business.
  • Support on other special or ad hoc projects or duties from time to time.

 

The successful candidate should:

  • Possess a third-level qualification in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism, politics, business or another related field /or/ equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrate strong writing skills and the know-how to engage different audiences with experience in utilising different channels (including digital and traditional methods).
  • Be able to effectively prioritise tasks under pressure, manage competing workloads, and schedule future work.
  • Have an eye for neat presentation, good design, and take pride in ensuring small details are accurate.
  • Have an innate interest in Irish and international media, communications, and content – you read the news every day.
  • Follow modern and emerging media trends, consumer behaviours, current affairs, and technology, and know how and why they can impact the work we do.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and often varied environment.
  • Previous experience in a public relations, public affairs, marketing, or other communications team (in-house or agency) is desirable but not essential.
  • Must be eligible to work full time in Ireland.
